With knitting/crocheting as the main topic of our Festival, and as our forum is about knitting / crocheting as well, in the first place we publish requirements to knitted / crocheted articles being presented to the Festival.
So, you will have to preparethe following pictures of the article made by you to the Knitty-Festival:
Knitting / crocheting, working with yarnEach participant can present up to 3 articles into up to three topics of your choice. A standard questionnaire is to be filled in for each item. A quality picture is a must. It doesn't matter how large and heavy your picture is. Please, present the original photo.
How should the main picture look? This one will be presented at the site. Please, try to make sure this picture looks nice, with a good design. Pay attention to the background and do remember that it will be judged by appearance. Even a technically perfect work will be at a disadvantage if compared with a work not so skilled but beautifully designed. Remember this when you think over the main picture.
The main picture of clothes should be presented on a child/children.
What should be presented for the jury?A few close-up pictures of your article.
Videos - links to the video hosting services. This is certainly an option. It's good to have a video, but it's not a must.
Style, colouring and design of the main photo of your article should be in line with the chosen topic of the Festival.
Make sure you state
ONE technique, one area you want to show your skill at, either knitting, crocheting, mixed technique, knitting machine or original techniques.
Awards and diplomas in the KNITTING nomination:
Laureate of the 1st (prize + certificate)
2nd (certificate),
3rd (certificate)
grade, separately in each technique (knitting, crocheting, mixed technique, knitting machine, original techniques).
Original design – 1st place (prize + certificate)
All participants besides the laureats will receive
participant certificates.
